 Debuting at #1 on Amazon in the new U.S. travel books category, Wild Year is part coffee-table book, part adventure journal. Featuring 150+ color photographs of national parks and protected lands from coast-to-coast, the book tells the autobiographical story of a life-changing year spent exploring the American wilderness.

Provasi Capital Partners

At Provasi (formerly Behringer), I utilized my diverse background to successfully led a multi-disciplinary team through an extensive corporate re-branding campaign. In just six months, we created a new name, brand identity, and value proposition, as well as launched a new website in tandem with a nationwide, omni-channel media blitz. The result: $300M in capital raised from 22K new investors before the company was acquired in 2018.

Capital One

  Capital One offered me an exciting opportunity to build out a multi-disciplinary creative team for their auto-finance LOB, and thusly, a chance to enhance my marketing and creative acumen. During my tenure, I led all B2B & B2C campaigns—including the design and launch of the Auto Navigator mobile app—bolstering the division to set a record of $16B in loan originations.

SUCCESS Magazine

I was part of the team that re-launched the magazine under new ownership. There, I guided the overall editorial direction of SUCCESS.com, which drew 250,000 visitors per month. I also authored an e-newsletter, Seeds of SUCCESS, which reached 175,000 email in-boxes every week. One of my articles even served as the basis for an interview with our publisher on ABC’s Good Morning America.

Led brand development, content creation, amplification, and optimization strategies—leveraging consumer insights and market data—to deliver custom B2B / B2C magazines and omni-channel marketing campaigns for clients such as Omni Hotels & Resorts, Dell, Fossil, and Insigniam Consulting. In 2014, I was awarded the Gold Communicator Award of Excellence for my work on Insigniam Quarterly, which was also nominated for a Pearl Award.

 A seminal learning experience, I shepherded the editorial and business operations of two monthly B2B publications, both with over 100,000 subscribers. As publisher, I led a remote sales team to surpass $6 million in ad revenue, and as editor, I secured high-profile interviews with former U.S. Sec. of State Condoleezza Rice, former U.S. Treasury Sec. Larry Summers, and Fannie Mae CEO Mike Williams.
